As her fellow churchwarden for some 6 years, I have nothing but fond and warm memories of her. She was a very religious person, but never preached to anyone or propounded her belief. She however set an amazing example in every aspect of her life and was a true Christian in all she did. She quietly set a high standard in her church life with the diligent execution of her duties as well as her service to the community, her friends and very much her family. However, she was definitely no prude or “goody goody”. She was indeed a tough character, both mentally and physically. She was a stalwart friend and companion to many people, including those who she regularly visited in hospital. Prayer and Bible reading meetings were often held at her house. She supported her charities with interest, dedication and generosity. A person, who it was a pleasure and privilege to know. She will be greatly missed. John Pizey
